Pumpkin Patch

We took a trip to the local Pumpkin patch... but unfortunately they were out of pumpkins!! We had a good time nonetheless!

T-C-U Frogs!

A few weeks back Will and I got the opportunity to watch TCU play the Air Force Academy. Our friends Josh and Lauren drove down from Denver to join us. It was extremely cold with a windshield of 9 degrees! But it was totally worth it to see my Horned Frogs crush the Falcons!

St. Louis

The majority of our trip was spent in St. Louis. Teresa's brother and fiance live in STL, and her parents, sister, and niece all converged on the condo for a week. Teresa was able to attend her future sister-in-law's bridal shower, as well as her 10 year high school reunion.

This is Teresa's childhood home

Cincinnati, OH

Next on our trip was a visit to Will's Aunt Chachi and Uncle Tim. They live in Cincinnati, OH. The weather didn't cooperate, so we spent lots of time inside (Teresa didn't mind because she got to go to IKEA). We sure did enjoy our visit to Skyline chili, Tim's parents' house, and a few lazy days at Casa Thompson.

Dayton, OH

Well, once again I have procrastinated in updating our blog. ooops!

Our most recent trip started off with a visit to Dayton, OH. We spent the night with friends of Will's from Germany. Before Teresa arrived overseas Will was coaching the local swim team. The Darden's two girls, Alaina and Alyssa were both swimmers. They moved back the states before Teresa got a chance to meet them. We had a blast catching up, playing in their awesome backyard, singing karaoke, and making smores.

Happy Birthday!

Caleb celebrated his third birthday this past July. We had all sorts of ideas for a great birthday party. But the more we thought about it we realized that Caleb only had a few friends his own age. So, he settled for an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. It is a good thing too, because we all got VERY sick with the flu the next day.

Camping in Pueblo

We spent a weekend down at the Pueblo reservoir camping and boating with our friends Kevin, Kami, and Heidi. Caleb still can't stop talking about sleeping in the tent, riding on the boat, and seeing Daddy ski and fall into the water.

The little red tricycle

For Caleb's 3rd birthday my parents bought Caleb a tricycle. It took a few hours of practice but he can now peddle and steer at the same time. He also loves his new helmet, which lights up when moved. He has spent many a day running around the house with that helmet on.

Teddy Bear Picnic

During the summer months, our church puts on a few days for the toddlers to enjoy. This month it was the teddy bear picnic. Each kid brought their favorite teddy bear and we spent the morning reading and singing about our bears, making teddy bear ears, giving our teddy bears a physical, and of course having a picnic.

Cow Appreciation Day

Every summer the Chick-Fil-A in town holds a Cow appreciation day. If you dress up like a cow you get a free lunch. This is Caleb's second year attending with our good friends the Ploceks. He really liked the chicken nuggets, but not the giant Cow mascot walking around.
